1997: Completed Doctorate program at the Graduate School of Human and Environmental Studies, Kyoto University (earned PhD in Human and Environmental Studies)

1997 - 1999: Technology research fellow at the Japan Science and Technology Corporation; Agricultural research center (National Agricultural Research Center)

1999 - 2007: Assistant at the Radioisotope Research Center; Kyoto University

2007 - 2010: Assistant professor at the Radioisotope Research Center; Kyoto University

2010 - 2022: Assistant professor at the Radioisotope Research Center; Agency for Health, Safety & Environment; Kyoto University
